Pacers re-sign McConnell to 4-year, $35.2M contract

Point guard T.J. McConnell agreed to re-sign with the Indiana Pacers on a four-year, $35.2-million contract, his agent told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The former Arizona star averaged a career-high 8.6 points per contest in his second season with the Pacers, also chipping in 6.6 assists and 1.9 steals.
After beginning his career with the Philadelphia 76ers, McConnell has emerged as a standout two-way performer in Indianapolis and will now get a chance to increase his role under new head coach Rick Carlisle.
