Free-agent forward Rudy Gay has agreed to join the Utah Jazz on a two-year, $12.1-million contract, the player's agent told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
The deal includes a player option for the second season.
A 15-year NBA veteran, Gay spent the last four campaigns with the San Antonio Spurs. He averaged 11.9 points across 256 games while making 63 starts under Gregg Popovich.
Gay represents Utah's second major signing of the free-agency period. The team secured star point guard Mike Conley for three more seasons on a $72.5-million contract Monday.
