The Boston Celtics are trading Josh Richardson and a first-round pick to the San Antonio Spurs for Derrick White, sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

The draft selection is for 2022 and top-four protected, ESPN's Zach Lowe reports. The Spurs will also have the right to swap first-round picks with the Celtics in 2028, according to Lowe.

Boston is also sending former first-round pick Romeo Langford to San Antonio, adds Haynes.

White is in the first season of a four-year, $70-million contract. He's averaging 14.4 points, 5.6 assists, 3.5 boards, and one steal over 49 appearances this campaign.

Richardson is set to become an unrestricted free agent at season's end. He's registering 9.7 points per contest and shooting 39.7% from deep.

Langford has spent his first three NBA campaigns with the Celtics, averaging 3.6 points in 14.7 minutes over 94 appearances.
