Dennis Schroder is expected to finish the 2021-22 campaign with the Houston Rockets, a source told NBA insider Marc Stein.
Both sides reportedly don't favor a buyout ahead of the Mar. 1 deadline for playoff eligibility, adds Stein.
Multiple teams were apparently interested in the veteran guard in the event the Rockets bought him out.
Houston acquired Schroder from the Boston Celtics at the trade deadline. The 28-year-old is averaging 12 points, 7.7 assists, four boards, and one steal over three appearances with the Rockets.
Schroder will be a free agent at the end of the season.
