The Phoenix Suns signed free-agent guard Duane Washington to a two-way contract, his agent told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Washington went undrafted last year after a solid three-year career at Ohio State. The 22-year-old averaged 9.8 points and shot 37.7% from deep across 48 appearances for the Indiana Pacers during his rookie campaign.
Indiana had to waive Washington to create salary cap space for Deandre Ayton's NBA-record four-year, $133-million offer sheet. The Suns subsequently matched the Pacers' offer sheet for the former No. 1 overall pick.
