The Dallas Mavericks added some backcourt depth Tuesday, signing ex-Denver Nuggets guard Facundo Campazzo.
Campazzo spent the last two seasons in the Mile High City after a decorated career with Real Madrid. He averaged 5.6 points, 3.5 assists, and 1.1 steals in a reserve role for the Nuggets.
The 31-year-old starred for Argentina at the FIBA AmeriCup in September, registering 20.3 points, 7.3 assists, and 4.3 boards per contest during the nation's run to the gold medal. His strong play earned him a spot on the All-Tournament team.
Dallas lost guard Jalen Brunson to the New York Knicks in free agency earlier this summer. Campazzo will likely back up Luka Doncic, his former Real Madrid teammate.
