Pistons extend veteran Bogdanovic on 2-year, $39.1M deal
Bojan Bogdanovic agreed to a two-year, $39.1-million extension with the Detroit Pistons, his representation told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The veteran shooter is averaging 23 points on 52% shooting from the field, 3.5 rebounds, and two assists in six games with the Pistons. Bogdanovic is shooting 51% from beyond the arc, connecting on four attempts per game.
Bogdanovic is making $19.5 million in the final year of his deal and is now tied to Detroit through the 2024-25 season, Wojnarowski adds.
The Pistons acquired the 33-year-old in September from the Utah Jazz for center Kelly Olynyk and guard Saben Lee.
The Croatian holds career averages of 15.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists over nine seasons in the league.
Detroit is 1-5 and faces the defending champion Golden State Warriors on Sunday at 6 p.m. ET.
