Dillon Brooks was among a number of Memphis Grizzlies players irritated by Fox Sports on-air personality Shannon Sharpe's behavior during Saturday's 122-121 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

"I ain't talking about that," Brooks said of his heated exchange with Sharpe, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin. "You can ask him. He's the blogger or whatever he is. I don't really care about all that. Next question."

Sharpe was jawing at Brooks as the halftime buzzer sounded, prompting a courtside altercation between the Pro Football Hall of Famer and members of the Grizzlies.

Security and officials quickly intervened to prevent the situation from escalating further. Sharpe was then allowed to return to his seat for the third quarter, which didn't sit well with Brooks.

"A regular pedestrian like him? No, he should have never come back in the game," Brooks said. "But this is L.A."

However, at least one person at Crypto.com Arena had Sharpe's support.

LeBron James showed some love for the former Denver Broncos tight end, whose comments in defense of the Lakers superstar ignited the whole incident.

"I mean, I ride with Shannon for 365 days, 366 on a leap year, 24/7," James said postgame. "So that's my guy. So I'll always have his back, and he's got mine. He can talk with the best of them, for sure."
