Memphis Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks won't be suspended for his flagrant-2 foul on LeBron James in the third quarter of Saturday's Game 3 matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The league reportedly deemed no additional penalty was necessary for Brooks' actions, adds Wojnarowski.

Brooks was ejected from the contest when he hit James in the groin shortly after the second half began.

Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden was recently tossed from a game as well for a similar action and didn't receive further punishment.

Grizzlies guard Ja Morant jumped to Brooks' defense following Saturday's affair.

"I felt like he was ejected because of past ejections that was made in games before," Morant told reporters postgame, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon. "I mean, if you look at the play, he was actually reaching for the ball and the crossover. LeBron just went behind the back. Obviously, he got hit somewhere that's tough for a man. But flagrant 1? OK, but ejection, I don't agree with it at all."

Brooks has started all three postseason games for the Grizzlies, averaging 11.3 points on just 32.5% shooting, including a 25% mark from deep. He's been Memphis' primary defender on James throughout the first-round series.

Game 4 is set for Monday evening at Crypto.com Arena.
