The Milwaukee Bucks are signing new head coach Doc Rivers to a contract through the 2026-27 campaign worth around $40 million, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The deal is fully guaranteed with no options, Charania reported Thursday on FanDuel's "Run It Back."

Rivers' reported contract means the Bucks will have the former NBA Coach of the Year on the club's payroll for the next three-and-a-half years along with Mike Budenholzer and Adrian Griffin.

The trio will collectively be paid just under $18 million per season, adds Charania.

Milwaukee dismissed Budenholzer following last season's first-round exit against the Miami Heat. Griffin was let go on Tuesday, just 43 games into his tenure.

The Bucks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 126-116 in their first contest following Griffin's firing.
