The Grizzlies traded Steven Adams to the Houston Rockets for Victor Oladipo, two 2024 second-round selections, and one 2025 second-round pick, Memphis announced Thursday.

Adams, 30, hasn't played this season after undergoing season-ending surgery on his right knee in October. The 7-footer is expected to make a full recovery for the 2024-25 campaign.

Adams was originally acquired by the Grizzlies in 2021 from the New Orleans Pelicans as part of a three-team trade for Jonas Valanciunas and the draft rights to Trey Murphy.

Last season, Adams averaged 8.6 points and 11.5 rebounds in 42 games for Memphis.

Oladipo has also not played this season as he recovers from patellar tendon surgery that he had in April while he was a member of the Miami Heat. He suffered the injury in Miami's first-round playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The two-time All-Star averaged 10.7 points in 42 games last season.

The Rockets are 11th in the West with a 22-25 record, while the Grizzlies sit 13th with a record of 18-29.
