Report: Heat's Rozier, Richardson out weeks with injuries
Miami Heat guard Josh Richardson is expected to miss at least a few weeks due to a dislocated right shoulder, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Heat point guard Terry Rozier is also week-to-week with a sprained knee, Charania reports.
Richardson was hurt early in the second quarter of Sunday's loss to the Boston Celtics. The Tennessee product attempted to strip Celtics star Jayson Tatum of the ball and immediately grabbed his shoulder after making contact with it.
Richardson subsequently left the game and didn't return.
Rozier also left Sunday's contest early after landing awkwardly following a layup attempt. It was his 10th game with the Heat since coming over in a trade from the Charlotte Hornets.
Miami sits eighth in the East with a 28-25 record.
