Chicago Bulls forward Patrick Williams will have season-ending surgery on his left foot, the team announced Friday.
The 22-year-old has been sidelined since Jan. 25 with an acute bone edema. Recent imaging on the injury revealed the need for surgery.
The former Florida State Seminole is the third Bulls player to be ruled out for the rest of the year. Lonzo Ball and Zach LaVine will sit out with a knee and ankle injury, respectively.
Williams has appeared in 43 games for Chicago this campaign and averaged 10 points and 3.9 rebounds.
The Bulls are ninth in the Eastern Conference with a 26-30 record.
