Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard exited Tuesday's 118-110 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves due to back spasms and didn't return.

Leonard played the entire first quarter before sitting out the following frame. The two-time Finals MVP left the arena because he was uncomfortable sitting on the bench with the spasms, a source told ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk.

Leonard appeared to be stretching out his back on the sidelines prior to the start of the second quarter.

Leonard has been relatively healthy this season but sat out Sunday's contest against the Milwaukee Bucks due to left groin soreness.

The six-time All-Star entered Tuesday's matchup averaging 24 points, 6.2 boards, 3.8 assists, and 1.7 steals across 57 appearances.
