The Charlotte Hornets re-signed veteran guard Seth Curry, the team announced Monday.

Curry agreed to a one-year deal with his hometown club, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. His father, Dell, spent 10 of his 16 NBA seasons with the Hornets and currently works as the team's color commentator.

Charlotte acquired Curry from the Dallas Mavericks in the P.J. Washington trade.

Curry averaged 5.1 points and shot 35.2% from deep across 44 appearances for the Mavs and Hornets last season. He's a career 43.1% 3-point shooter, which is the third-highest among active players.

Charlotte ranked 23rd in the Association with 12.1 threes per contest in the 2023-24 campaign.
