The San Antonio Spurs signed guard Malachi Flynn to a one-year contract, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Flynn's deal is non-guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Andrew Lopez.

The San Diego State product provides additional depth at the point behind veteran Chris Paul and Tre Jones.

The Toronto Raptors drafted Flynn 29th overall in 2020.

The 26-year-old was traded to the New York Knicks midway through his fourth season with the Raptors.

New York then dealt Flynn to the Detroit Pistons in February 2024 following a one-month stint in The Big Apple.

Flynn averaged 5.5 points and 1.9 assists across 69 appearances last season. He scored a career-high 50 points against the Atlanta Hawks in April. It was the second-highest amount of points scored by a player coming off the bench in NBA history.
