Charania, 30, has over 3 million subscribers across his social media platforms and most recently wrote for The Athletic. He was also an on-air talent for Stadium and FanDuel TV. The terms of Charania's deal with ESPN haven't been announced.
The move comes after Wojnarowski's surprising decision to resign from ESPN so that he could become the general manager of his alma mater, St. Bonaventure basketball. Wojnarowski spent seven years with ESPN as the network's leading NBA insider.
