Pacers' Jackson suffers torn Achilles
Indiana Pacers big man Isaiah Jackson will be out for the remainder of the season after sustaining a torn right Achilles tendon, the team announced Saturday.
Jackson is scheduled to have surgery to repair the tendon on Monday.
The Kentucky product appeared to suffer the noncontact injury in Indiana's 125-118 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night.

Jackson averaged seven points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks in five games for Indiana this season.
Jackson is in the final year of his rookie deal and will become a restricted free agent in the summer.
The Pacers could cover 50% of Jackson's contract by filing for the disabled player exception, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.
The 22-year-old is the second Pacers big man to suffer a torn Achilles this year. Recently acquired center James Wiseman sustained the injury on opening night and will miss the rest of the campaign.
Veteran Myles Turner is the only other center on Indiana's roster.
The Pacers sit 11th in the Eastern Conference after a 2-4 start to the year.
