Hornets' Williams out indefinitely after tearing ACL
Charlotte Hornets forward Grant Williams is out indefinitely after tearing the ACL in his right knee.
Williams sustained the injury on a drive to the basket in the fourth quarter of Saturday's 125-119 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Appreciate all the love and support from those who have reached out. Time to goto work it’s all we can do🤙🏽

Williams was off to a solid start in his first full season with the Hornets, averaging 10.4 points, 5.1 boards, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 steals across 16 appearances.
The 25-year-old was shooting 36.5% from deep and had occasionally served as the club's small-ball five with Nick Richards and Mark Williams still sidelined.
Charlotte is also without Miles Bridges and key reserve Tre Mann.
The Hornets acquired Williams from the Dallas Mavericks last season as part of the P.J. Washington trade.
Williams has two years remaining on his four-year, $53.3-million contract.
