New Orleans Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray intends to return Wednesday versus the Toronto Raptors, sources told NBA insider Chris Haynes.

Murray was listed as doubtful for Monday's game against the Indiana Pacers before being downgraded to out.

The 6-foot-5 guard fractured his left hand in the Pelicans' season-opening win over the Chicago Bulls and hasn't played since. He tallied 14 points, 10 assists, eight boards, and one steal in his lone appearance for New Orleans.

The Pelicans acquired Murray from the Atlanta Hawks last offseason in a multi-player deal that sent Dyson Daniels the other way.

Murray is under contract through at least the 2026-27 campaign and holds a $31.6-million player option for the following season.

The Pelicans sit last in the West entering Monday's slate of games. They've endured a number of injuries to key players, including Zion Williamson, CJ McCollum, Herb Jones, and Jose Alvarado.

New Orleans signed Elfrid Payton to address its depleted depth at point guard with Murray, McCollum, and Alvarado all sidelined.
