Report: KD, Beal plan to play Tuesday vs. Lakers
Phoenix Suns duo Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal plan to suit up for Tuesday's matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
Phoenix officially listed both players as probable for the NBA Cup showdown.
Durant has missed the last seven games due to a left calf strain, with the Suns winning just once during that span.
The 14-time All-Star was off to a strong start this season, averaging 27.6 points, 6.6 boards, 3.4 assists, and 1.4 blocks through his first nine appearances.
Meanwhile, Beal has missed the past five contests due to a calf injury of his own. The 31-year-old is averaging 17.8 points, four boards, 3.7 assists, and 1.4 steals.
Phoenix acquired Beal from the Washington Wizards in June 2023. Multiple injuries limited the sharpshooting guard to just 53 appearances last season.
The Suns are eighth in the West with a 9-7 mark entering Monday's slate of games.
