Bronny James put on a show in his first G League road game.

The 6-foot-2 guard went off for 30 points on 13-of-23 shooting as the South Bay Lakers fell 106-100 to the Valley Suns on Thursday. He also added three boards, two assists, one steal, and one block in 25 minutes of action.

James' three previous appearances for South Bay were all at home. He entered Thursday's contest averaging 8.7 points, three boards, and 2.7 assists in the G League.

The Los Angeles Lakers selected James with the No. 55 overall pick in this year's draft and subsequently signed him to a four-year, $7.9-million contract.

James has been splitting time with the Lakers and their G League affiliate.
