The Chicago Bulls have signed guard Lonzo Ball to a two-year, $20-million contract extension, his agent told NBA insider Marc Stein.

Ball had attracted interest from several teams in recent days before coming to terms on a new deal with the Bulls, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.

The UCLA product has enjoyed a solid comeback season after missing the last two campaigns due to a series of knee injuries. He's averaging 7.2 points, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals across 30 appearances.

Ball has started the last eight games and could be in line for more minutes after the recent trade of Zach LaVine.
