76ers' Gordon out at least 3 months after wrist surgery
Philadelphia 76ers guard Eric Gordon will miss at least three months after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right wrist, the team announced Thursday.
The 17-year NBA veteran had already missed the club's last six contests.
Gordon joined the 76ers last summer on a two-year, $6.8-million contract that includes a $3.5-million player option for 2025-26. He averaged a career-low 6.8 points and shot 40.9% from deep across 39 appearances this season.
Philadelphia is already without rookie Jared McCain for the remainder of the campaign.
Joel Embiid's season is up in the air, too, as he and the team are reportedly consulting doctors and considering alternative options for his lingering knee in injury.
The 76ers have dropped nine straight contests and sit 12th in the East with a 20-38 record.
