The Houston Rockets are signing Dorian Finney-Smith to a four-year, $53-million contract, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

His new deal includes a player option and a trade kicker, according to The Athletic's Kelly Iko.

Finney-Smith averaged 8.7 points, 3.9 boards, and 1.4 assists across 63 appearances with the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets last season.

The Lakers acquired Finney-Smith from the Nets in December 2024. The Florida product played an important role for Los Angeles as a multi-positional defender and 3-point shooter.

Finney-Smith made a career-high 41.1% of his 3-point attempts last season.
