Report: Bronny received player votes to start All-Star Game
The starters for this year's NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles were revealed Monday afternoon, and there were a few eyebrow-raising votes from the players.
Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James, son of LeBron, got votes from two NBA players to start in the annual midseason exhibition, according to Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press.
Meanwhile, Detroit Pistons forward Isaac Jones reportedly got four votes from his peers. The voting is anonymous.
Bronny has played sparingly in his second pro campaign, averaging 1.5 points in 6.9 minutes across 24 appearances.
Jones began the season with the Sacramento Kings before being claimed off waivers by the Pistons in November. He's played 18 total minutes over four games in 2025-26.
Detroit recently called up Jones from the G League's Motor City Cruise.
Both players fell well short of receiving starting nods, as players only account for 25% of the vote. Fans (50%) and media members (25%) make up the remaining portion.
