Darius Garland plans to make his first appearance for the Los Angeles Clippers in Monday's matchup with the Golden State Warriors, sources told NBA on Prime's Chris Haynes.

Garland has been sidelined due to a toe injury and hasn't played since joining the Clippers as part of the blockbuster trade that sent James Harden to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The two-time All-Star has missed the last 16 games through injury and has appeared in just 26 contests this season because of the lingering toe ailment. Garland required surgery in the offseason to correct the issue and missed the first seven games of the 2025-26 season for the Cavaliers.

Garland, 26, is averaging 18 points and 6.9 assists on 45.1% shooting this campaign.

Los Angeles has lost its last three games and six out of 10 ahead of Sunday's visit from the New Orleans Pelicans. The Clippers will then hit the road to face the Warriors in the Bay Area on Monday.
