CP3 roasts Clippers after play-in collapse vs. Warriors
Chris Paul didn't waste any time celebrating the Los Angeles Clippers' season-ending loss to the Golden State Warriors in the play-in tournament.
Moments after his former team blew a 13-point lead at home to the Warriors, Paul posted a version of the "RIP Bozo" meme on his Instagram story.
The photo depicts a man in a trenchcoat at his enemy's funeral, celebrating their death. Joel Embiid famously posted it in 2022 after the Philadelphia 76ers traded Ben Simmons.

Paul rejoined the Clippers last summer on a one-year, $3.6-million contract. A month into the campaign, the future Hall of Famer hinted that he'd retire following the season.
A few weeks later, the Clippers abruptly ended Paul's second stint with the franchise and sent him home in the midst of a five-game road trip.
Paul reportedly complained about the Clippers' coaching staff, players, and front office. He apparently wasn't on speaking terms with head coach Tyronn Lue.
Paul was still hopeful of continuing his NBA career despite the sudden split. The 12-time All-Star was traded to the Toronto Raptors in February as part of a three-team deal. He was waived a week later and subsequently announced his retirement after 21 seasons.
