Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves returned to the lineup for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Houston Rockets.

The 27-year-old came off the bench midway through the first quarter.

Reaves hadn't played since April 2, when he suffered a Grade 2 left oblique injury versus the Oklahoma City Thunder. His return came slightly ahead of the four-to-six week timeline reportedly given by the team.

Reaves averaged 23.3 points, 5.5 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.1 steals across a career-low 51 appearances during the regular season.

The Lakers have gone 17-14 with Reaves out of the lineup this season.
