Report: Clippers fear Mavs in DeAndre Jordan sweepstakes, while Tyson Chandler's Plan B in Dallas
The Los Angeles Clippers have heard the rumors.
With DeAndre Jordan set to hit free agency, and with the Clippers and Dallas Mavericks known to be the frontrunners in the sweepstakes, Los Angeles fears the Mavericks the most, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

While Jordan plans to meet with the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks, it's the Mavericks who pose the biggest threat when it comes to luring Jordan out of Hollywood. The big man will reportedly decide between the Clippers and Mavs, MacMahon adds.
And Mavericks small forward Chandler Parsons is doing his part for Dallas, MacMahon writes.
Parsons, who regards himself to be Dallas' lead recruiter on free agent matters, visited Jordan in Houston last weekend and traveled to Los Angeles immediately after Thursday's draft to spend more time with the big man.
Both Parsons and Jordan are represented by L.A.-based Relativity Sports and agent Dan Fegan. Parsons helped recruit Dwight Howard, another Fegan client, to Houston two years ago.
And here's another twist:
What happens with Jordan will have an impact on Tyson Chandler, who is also an unrestricted free agent, MacMahon adds. If Jordan stays in L.A., or heads elsewhere, the Mavericks will turn their sights on re-signing Chandler, who completed his second one-year stint with the Mavericks in 2014-15.
"Business is business," Chandler said when asked about being Dallas' second choice.
And at the end of the day, I get it. The franchise (has) to make the best decision for the franchise. Of course, I still feel like I can go, still have a lot to give. But at the end of the day, I feel like I'll make the best decision for myself and my family and the Mavericks will make the best decision for the organization.
