Draymond responds to Irving: 'I think if I was 6-foot-11 I'd be Anthony Davis'
Draymond Green was already one of the biggest talkers in the league. Add the Larry O'Brien to his shelf and $82 million to his wallet, and who knows what he might say?
Fresh off signing a near-maximum contract on Thursday, Green was asked about Kyrie Irving's claim that the Cleveland Cavaliers would have won the championship had they been healthy.
Green responded with a tongue-in-cheek zinger.
Green is a confident, multi-faceted big, but even he would scoff at the notion of his game approaching Anthony Davis's. The difference between Green and Davis is a lot more than a bit of height, just like the difference between the Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors is more than Irving and Kevin Love.
Irving does have a point, though. The Cavaliers were short two members of their Big Three, and were eventually reduced to having Matthew Dellavedova slot in at point guard ... across from MVP Stephen Curry.
The only way to end the debate is having the two teams meet in a rematch. The Cavaliers are a good bet to repeat as Eastern Conference champions, but the Warriors will have to battle the likes of San Antonio, Los Angeles, and Oklahoma City.
