VIDEO: Jordan Clarkson, Jared Cunningham trade highlight dunks at summer league
Summer league games are mostly meaningless, but that doesn't mean they're not fun.
The Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers, both eliminated from summer league playoff contention, were left to settle a consolation game Friday - but the game within the game was fascinating, as Jazz guard Jared Cunningham and Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson had themselves a little dunk contest.
Clarkson opened the action by crowning Jazz forward Jack Cooley. Clarkson maneuvered around a high screen before taking off from the dotted circle.
Cunningham hit back soon thereafter, beating Lakers guard Dwight Buycks off the dribble before busting out a slick two-handed 360-reverse.
Clarkson is coming off a first-team All-Rookie campaign, whereas Cunningham is contending for a spot on the Jazz's roster.
