Report: David West's contract with Spurs includes player option for 2nd year

If David West was willing to sacrifice $11 million to join the San Antonio Spurs for a year, maybe he'll forego a few million more to stick around for one more.
That's what the Spurs are hoping, as West's minimum free-agent contract - reported at one year and $1.4 million - includes a player option for a second year, according to RealGM's Shams Charania.
After turning down his $12.6-million option with the Indiana Pacers, West was open about his desire to chase a title. He put all that money where his mouth was.
We'll see if the intoxicating charms of playing in Gregg Popovich's dreamland prove enough to convince him to do so again.
