The Los Angeles Clippers have reached an agreement on a deal with point guard Pablo Prigioni, according to a source of RealGM's Shams Charania.
NBA.com's David Aldridge adds that Prigioni will be receiving the veteran's minimum. The length of the deal has not yet been disclosed.
The 38-year-old had recently cleared waivers after being dropped by the Denver Nuggets on Monday.
Prigioni was part of a five-player trade that sent Ty Lawson to the Houston Rockets, with Denver having made an attempt to move his partially-guaranteed contract in a trade before ultimately deciding to waive him.
Spending last season with both the Rockets and New York Knicks, Prigioni averaged 4.1 points and 2.6 assists in 67 games, shooting 39.9 percent from the field and 34.3 percent from behind the arc.
Prigioni is a reliable hand with decent range and a respectable defensive game. In getting a third-string point guard who can offer a team 12-15 quality minutes per game, the Clippers could have done a lot worse at that price.
