The New York Knicks have agreed to sign guard Wesley Saunders to a partially guaranteed deal, according to RealGM's Shams Charania.

Saunders, 22, went undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft after averaging 16.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists during his final year at Harvard.

He recently made five appearances for the Utah Jazz's Summer League squad in Las Vegas with feeble results, averaging just 3.4 points.

The Knicks had luck with a former Crimson alumnus before, with Jeremy Lin becoming a worldwide phenomenon during his 35-game run during the 2011-12 season. Saunders isn't Lin, though, and with zero guarantee of a roster spot, he may never get the opportunity to light up Madison Square Garden like his predecessor.
