The Minnesota Timberwolves announced that they will wear a patch all season to honor the late Flip Saunders, who passed away Sunday.
The team will also wear a specially designed shooting shirt throughout the month of November with the caption "WE" in the front and "Flip" across the heart side of the shirt, the team announced in a press release.

Coaches across the league will adorn lapels with Flip's name in honor of the longtime Timberwolves, Detroit Pistons, and Washington Wizards bench boss, who lost his life after a battle with Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Saunders amassed a record of 654-594 across a 17-year career as head coach, including 11 postseason appearances.
