Wroten's departure from the City of Brotherly Love coincided with the Sixers' trade for point guard Ish Smith.
The Washington alumnus was selected 25th overall in the 2012 draft by the Memphis Grizzlies but was acquired by the Sixers in exchange for a second-round pick a year later.
The wiry 6-foot-6 slasher recorded a triple-double (18 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists) in his first career start in Nov. 2013 - an unprecedented statistical accomplishment for any debuting player.
