North Carolina's Berry sprains ankle vs. Radford
Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports
North Carolina suffered a scare on Sunday as standout guard Joel Berry II left the game against Radford with a sprained left ankle and did not return.
Berry is second on the team in scoring, averaging 16 points per contest, while leading the Tar Heels in assists per game from his point guard spot.
With big non-conference contests against Tennessee and Kentucky looming in the next two weeks, North Carolina will be hoping it's just a minor ailment and not a significant sprain.
