Ted Cruz is in on the Grayson Allen joke

It's been over a year now since people began noticing the striking resemblance between former Republican Presidential candidate Ted Cruz and Duke's Grayson Allen, and it appears the Texas senator is one of those people.

After Deadspin discovered that Cruz started a weekly basketball game in the Senate, they requested proof of him actually playing the sport.

Cruz responded in humorous fashion, posting a picture of Allen on Twitter.

For comparison sake, here's a side-by-side shot of Allen and Cruz. It's pretty easy to see why people have often questioned whether the two are actually related.
