North Carolina's Kenny Williams likely out for season with knee injury

North Carolina guard Kenny Williams needs knee surgery and will likely miss the remainder of the season, head coach Roy Williams told Jon Rothstein of Fan Rag Sports on Wednesday.
Williams suffered the injury Tuesday during practice, and missed the Tar Heels game Wednesday against NC State.
The 6-foot-4 sophomore has been a key player for the Tar Heels in his second season, averaging 6.2 points and 3.3 rebounds in 23 minutes.
