Indiana's Bryant breaks Northwestern's heart with game-winning foul shot

Northwestern has never made the NCAA Tournament in the school's history, and if it keeps closing out halves like it did Saturday against Indiana, that streak is going to continue.

After giving up a 22-0 run to end the first half, the Wildcats battled back to take a seven-point lead with 1:33 left in the game.

From that point on, the Hoosiers ripped off an 8-0 run, capped by Thomas Bryant's incredibly dramatic go-ahead free throw to give Indiana the lead with two seconds to play.

Bryant's free throw was a result of a foul on the game-tying dunk the sophomore made, sending the crowd into hysterics.

The Wildcats are likely still in the NCAA Tournament field as of Saturday night, but need a strong showing in their last two games against Purdue and Michigan to ensure that spot.
