No perfect brackets remain for 2017 tournament

And then there were none.
After 40 games of the 2017 NCAA tournament there are no perfect brackets remaining among the tens of millions submitted, according to Daniel Wilco of NCAA.com.
An entry in the Yahoo Bracket Challenge was the last perfect bracket remaining, but saw its run come to an end with Iowa State's loss to Purdue in the final game of Saturday's action. The Cyclones nearly kept perfection alive as they overcame a 19-point second-half deficit to take a late lead, but ultimately could not close it out.
Still, getting 39 games correct before finally missing is quite an accomplishment. In fact, it's the longest streak to start a tournament that's been verified by the NCAA, passing the previous record of 36 correct in 2014.
