Duke sends cease and desist letter over T-shirt mocking Grayson Allen

Jeremy Brevard / USA TODAY Sports

Duke is coming to the defense of Grayson Allen after a clothing company created a T-shirt mocking the standout guard.

Smack Apparel, a company based in Florida, creates humorous T-shirts for rival fan bases to poke fun at their opponents, including one in the blue of North Carolina.

The shirt pokes fun at Allen for his suspension over a number of tripping violations throughout his Duke career.

According to a cease and desist letter obtained by TMZ Sports, Duke is claiming the shirt is using Allen's name and image without permission.

Judging by the above tweet from the official Smack Apparel account, it doesn't seem like the company is too bothered by the letter.
