The list of consensus top-10 picks that reportedly won't take part in this month's NBA Draft Combine keeps growing, as sources told The Vertical's Shams Charania that Josh Jackson, Jayson Tatum, Lauri Markkanen, Jonathan Isaac, Dennis Smith, and Malik Monk will join Lonzo Ball in skipping the event.
It was reported over the weekend that Ball wouldn't attend the May 9-14 scouting event in Chicago.
It's not uncommon for some consensus high lottery picks to skip the combine, as it's considered mostly beneficial to expected late-first-round and second-round selections. In this case, however, the reported absentees represent seven of the projected top 10 picks.
