Texas' task of knocking off Kansas on Monday will be even more difficult as star freshman Mo Bamba will not play due to a toe injury.
Head coach Shaka Smart told Jon Rothstein of Fan Rag Sports that the sprained toe the center suffered against Oklahoma State on the weekend has not healed in time to play versus the Jayhawks.
Bamba has started all 28 games this season, averaging 13 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 3.8 blocks per contest. He is widely considered to be a top-10 pick in the upcoming NBA draft.
