Marvin Bagley III is now the highest-scoring freshman in the illustrious history of Duke basketball, as the star forward set the new single-season mark during Friday's Sweet 16 game against Syracuse.
Bagley's 671st point of the season came during the second half of Friday's contest, breaking the previous record of 670 set by Jabari Parker in 2014.
Provided Duke continues its run through the NCAA tournament, Bagley could put some distance between himself and Parker before likely heading to the NBA after the season.
