Report: Florida's Nembhard withdraws from draft, intends to transfer
Florida guard Andrew Nembhard will withdraw from the NBA draft and intends to transfer, a source told Stadium's Jeff Goodman.
The 6-foot-5 sophomore averaged 11.2 points and 5.6 assists across 31 appearances last season. He registered 173 total dimes in 2019-20 to finish second in the SEC.
Nembhard started in all 67 of his appearances over the past two seasons. The Canadian was a four-star prospect and ranked 28th overall on the ESPN 100 for 2018.
He starred alongside New York Knicks wing RJ Barrett at Montverde Academy, leading the high school to a perfect 36-0 season that culminated with a national championship during his senior year in 2018.
Nembhard has also represented his country at the youth and senior levels. Most recently, he suited up for Canada at the FIBA World Cup ahead of the 2019-20 collegiate campaign.
