Baylor lands top-25 recruit Langston Love
Four-star recruit Langston Love has verbally committed to Baylor, he announced Wednesday on social media.
The 6-foot-4 guard is the 22nd-ranked prospect on the ESPN 100 for 2021 and the Bears' highest-rated recruit since Isaiah Austin in 2012, according to ESPN's Paul Biancardi.
"Baylor was the first school that gave me a chance to pursue my goal of playing at the next level," Love told Biancardi and Jeff Borzello of ESPN. "They offered me a scholarship even though I was under the radar. They were the first to have faith and believe in me."
Love and second-ranked 2020 recruit Cade Cunningham led powerhouse Montverde Academy to a 35-0 record this past season.
Oklahoma State, Stanford, Texas, and Texas A&M were also in the running for Love's services.
