Kentucky lands top-25 prospect Daimion Collins

Kentucky has added another important piece to its 2021 recruiting class.

Daimion Collins announced his commitment to the Wildcats, he told ESPN's Paul Biancardi on Saturday.

Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas Tech were also in the running for his services.

"They will push me to be my best," Collins said. "I like how their players have developed. Me playing with and against great players, hopefully, it will make me a great player. I am ready for the challenge."

The 6-foot-9 forward is ranked 19th on 247Sports' rankings and 24th on the ESPN 100 for 2021.

Collins' addition comes less than a week after former Louisville top recruit Bryce Hopkins chose Kentucky. The Wildcats' 2021 recruiting class also includes four-star prospect Nolan Hickman.
