Duke star Williams declares for draft
Duke star Mark Williams announced Monday on social media he's declaring for the NBA draft.
While Williams didn't indicate that he's signed with an agent, the Blue Devils center is a projected lottery pick.

Williams provided vertical spacing as a lob threat and superb rim-protection all season long.
He was an important part of the Blue Devils' Final Four run, averaging 13.2 points, 7.8 boards, 3.2 blocks, and 1 steal over five NCAA Tournament contests. The seven-footer led the nation in true shooting percentage (72.6%) and finished fifth in total swats (110) during the 2021-22 campaign.
Williams also earned ACC Defensive Player of the Year honors and an All-ACC third-team nod this past season.
"The NBA team that drafts Mark is obviously getting a talented player, but an equally impressive young man off the court that will represent their organization with class," said outgoing Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski in a statement. "I cannot wait to watch him at the next level."
